Mid-Coast Audubon plans to accept orders for birdseed until Friday, October 22, to raise funds to support bird conservation and education programs.

Seeds should be picked up between 10 a.m. and noon on Saturday, October 30 at Plants Unlimited, 629 Commercial St., US Route 1, Rockport, or Lincoln County Publishing, 116 Mills Road, Newcastle. Orders must specify the pickup location.

Five varieties will be offered this fall: Black Sunflower 20 pounds for $ 19, 40 pounds for $ 33; Sunflower meats (peeled) 25 pounds for $ 29, or 50 pounds for $ 50; Melody Mix 20 pounds for $ 15, 40 pounds for $ 24; Thistle (Nyger) 5 pounds for $ 12; and tallow blocks, $ 2.50 each.
