Beverage raises $12 million in seed round

US soft drink retailer, Boisson, has raised a $12 million funding round, co-led by Connect Ventures and Blue Scorpion Investments.

Other investors included professional mixed martial artist Francis Ngannou, Midnight Ventures and Red Krypton.

Launched in 2021, Boisson is a retailer and distributor offering non-alcoholic beverages – in categories such as wine, beer, spirits, aperitifs and mixers – from more than 125 brands.

The turn comes as Boisson expands its store footprint in Los Angeles, with three new locations opening in Studio City, Brentwood and Beverly Hills.

Additionally, the company plans to open more stores in the U.S. and overseas, as well as launch new content platforms “to support growth in the zero-proof category.”

The round brings Beverage’s valuation to $47 million.
